Jakes Approved As Principal of Empower
The Jackson County Board of Education has approved Mrs. Lacey Jakes as the new principal of the Empower College and Career Center. Jakes will begin her duties with Empower on July 1.

Empower Lightning Finishes 5th Overall In State
The Empower JROTC Lighting Team placed fifth overall, out of 70 teams, during the State Raiders Competition in Milledgeville on Saturday. The Lighting finished third in Rope Bridge.
