A pair of students within the Jackson County School System have been named FFA National Finalists. Jackson-Empower FFA's Elizabeth Ledford, the chapter's president during the 2025-26 school year and a recent graduate of Jackson County High School, was named a Top 10 National Finalist for the Diversified Horticulture Proficiency, while East Jackson Middle School FFA member Greer Humphries was named a  National Finalist for the Agriscience in Social Systems Division I.
