The Jackson-Empower Future Farmers of America (FFA) Chapter is now the largest in the state of Georgia, following a release of new membership numbers this summer. Jackson-Empower FFA boasts 512 members, 96 more than the next closest chapter in the state.
The Jackson-Empower FFA saw an increase of 92 members from the previous school year. The award-winning program was recognized with a second-straight Gold Emblem Chapter distinction this spring and offers multiple career pathways for students interested in agriculture, the state of Georgia's largest industry. The agricultural pathways include the areas of Animal/Veterinarian Sciences, Plant Sciences and Mechanical/Welding.
