EJCHS, JCHS Ranked Among U.S. News' Best High Schools

East Jackson Comprehensive High School and Jackson County High School have both been ranked inside the U.S. News' Top High Schools, following a release on Monday. The U.S. News and World Report ranked 17,655 American High Schools, and the top 40 percent (7,062 or better) achieved the status as a U.S. News Best High School.
Jackson County and East Jackson both ranked high-enough to earn the distinction. The rankings are based on a wide-encompassing criteria that includes college readiness, state assessment proficiency, state assessment performance, underserved student performance, college curriculum breadth and graduation rate.
